Why am I in love again….

I must accept I am very indisciplined when it comes to blogging. Never mind coz I haven’t signed up any contracts πŸ˜€ Β  Last few weeks in my life have been so normal and peaceful that I sometimes ask my siblings to pinch me to feel it is all so real. From the day I have landed in this country I have been coming across so many new things that the list goes endless.

I just love the almost zero pollution environment here.

The traffic discipline!!!! amazingly depressing…sometimes i feel like walking out of the car running away. I know i know the safety first thing …so good about it but ya i miss the hyderabadi autowallah’s torture turns . You can be sure to end up on a hospital bed even if you are following traffic rules πŸ™‚ . Here your saved from that .

The houses how perfectly planned and lined up they are!! I feel the best part about them being like that is how much ever junk you dump around , the houses still look great! So ideal for someone like me.

The way some stranger on the side walk looks into your face and wishes you a hi how are you doing today with a sunshine smile..

The way people binge on tempting calorie filled foods and the way they just rush to the gym to burn it all out. Balancing acts huh!!! πŸ™‚ Β Just the way they sit back and enjoy life unlike so many of us who are always on a run to achieve things than accomplish them.

The way you can take up any hobby that appeals to you just by walking into a store. The way they stack up their stores meticulously. Ah!! how I dream of a day when I can wake up and become a carpenter when I want to make frames for my photo works. (the outcome doesnt matter you get to try your hand at it atleast buddy)

I hate to compare it all with anything back home just for some reasons like how much we lag behind when compared with them.

WE have a very small piece of land with too many humans eating out of it.

So with no comparisons I can say I just am in love with this nation for many more reasons. The list will never end.

I shall scribble again!!! See ya…

Unlike many people who dont welcome change in their life and appreciate others, you made the difference just taking the things as they are. Hats off!

humm…yes its should be great out their….and obviusoly u can not compare….the huge population here!

But u should know one thing that we being so much over populated still manage things smiling….still adjust living..unlike their….the first and foremost thing that ruins everything is population growth here….may be all of us have to work it out to help reduce birth rate here in INDIA….

  3. amit… aisa kuch bhi nahi hai…phir bhi mujhe yahan bahut acha lagtha hai πŸ™‚

I believe that the things are in place because people want them to be in place. I have been living in a place called Kanpur for the past 4 years and there is one thing i have observed, it is upto the people to change. If someone is following the traffic rules, it is because he cares about himself and others on the street. Same is the case with trash on the streets. I dont say that Americans are the people with absolute etiquettes but at the end of the day everything balances out there unlike India where the bad outweighs the good by a huge uncomparable margin.

Dude its too late now to attribute the misery/chaos just to the huge population. True that we are densely populated but it doesnt mean that we shouldnt follow rules or spit wherever we want to or trash the whole place up.

It is people who have to change with respect to their ideologies, habits and etiquettes. I dont trust the govt much either. The problem with the nation is its undue importance to things like religion( i aint saying religion is bad, i am a very spiritual person but asking ppl to pursue religion in its true form), power, money etc.

I find that people here lack apathy.( i dont care if americans do or dont either πŸ™‚ )

Yeah u gotta love the aesthetics, after all it is human tendency to appreciate beauty and order.

I am waiting for the day you would start working with machine tools.Be sure to invite me to ur place of work that day πŸ˜‰ .

  5. Well observed and well put. However, these observations and comparisons seem superficial to me. I am sure you must have put in more thought into it, and I know you do not have to agree with me. But I would urge you to dig deeper into the facts and try and find why the difference is so apparent. You might have to study the histories, analyze the cultures and form your own opinions (but not be opinionated) and subsequently your own solutions for the betterment of our society.

You are on the right path… Good luck!

You write so well… i appreciate that!!! out of many, one difference why US is US and INDIA is INDIA is people actually go out and VOTE there unlike many of us… a pityful 47% poll in the last elections is bad real bad.. so technically the so called peoples representatives are eleted by 12% of population considering many parties who gets the deposits…. no offence but thts the way it is… and hey i like all ur blogs and especially u r carnatic music and mass beats.. you know theres one show in MAA tv called rela re rela its completely MANA beats and i think u ll like it… sorry i couldnt reply in tht blog…. cheers!!

  7. @vamsi ya i do agree the write up has been very superficial as I have limited myself to expressing just the things i have felt happy about …i really appreciate your openness .thank you so much.

@u no me … don’t even think I will ever agree to your point .. πŸ™‚ no way…go on

Hmm infact these are the very basic observations which are very much true. Again its my point of view πŸ™‚ . I have spent time both in the western societies and the extremes of india. (Living in places like UP and Bihar shall truly teach you something. )

Our present day culture in INDIA is full of distorted view of religion, leftovers of some of the idiotic victorian principles and those of central asian invaders, etc . It is much different from the other cultures and is rich w.r.t principles. (at the same time i dont say other cultures arent beautiful either ) . A set of well stated philosphies have been converted into a set of rituals and religious fanatism.
I can go on talking abt this. i better stop.

    @u no me
Yeah i agree that people dont vote, but at the same time , most of us dont find the leaders dynamic enough to support them. This time around i found none of the political parties had a ‘face’.
Corruption shall end only when the people with power go through a process of self-realization.
